A charming country inn in a picturesque Dorset village
The Grove Arms is located in the small village of Ludwell, a stone’s throw from the bustling market town of Shaftesbury and surrounded by Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).
This thatched pub is believed to have been serving weary travellers and thirsty locals since 17th century. Today, in much the same way, it has an enviable reputation amongst its locals for traditional pub food and warm hospitality.
Guests (and their dogs) are welcome in the pub’s seating and dining areas, as well as its six comfortable en-suite bedrooms, making this charming inn ideal for guests looking for a dog-friendly haunt.
