The Dolphin Hotel
A classic Victorian guesthouse steeped in history on the edge of Dartmoor
The Dolphin Hotel is a historic pub with rooms on the outskirts of the beautiful Dartmoor National Park which attracts a wide variety of guests, including local diners, walkers and holidaymakers. This characterful hotel was built in the 1880s as a coaching house providing food, drink and rest for travellers and their horses, and the striking exterior of the building has changed very little over the years, retaining a classic Victorian look.
The Dolphin’s large function room and banqueting suite is available for exclusive hire and has its own private bar, perfect for special occasions or hosting conferences and meetings. With eight comfortable guest rooms, this is an ideal venue for a celebration with friends and family, or a getaway break in spectacular surroundings.
