Hall & Woodhouse seeks charity partners for The Frog at Mindenhurst

Family brewer Hall & Woodhouse is calling out to local charities in Surrey to apply for the chance to become the official Charity Partner for its new pub, The Frog at Mindenhurst.

All Hall & Woodhouse Managed Houses, which are owned and run by the brewery, partner with a local Pub Charity Partner to team up with and work collaboratively to raise money. Across all chosen partners, Hall & Woodhouse raises over £100,000 every year.

Karl Lawrence, General Manager at The Frog, said: “Supporting local charities and the community is at the very core of our family values at Hall & Woodhouse and we are looking for a beloved charity within the Mindenhurst area to support through our various charity events and activities, and anyone is welcome to submit an application. Pubs are at the heart of every community and we want to not only provide a hub for locals to spend time with loved ones, but also support a cause close to the heart of our visitors, and give back.”

Over the last decade, Hall & Woodhouse has raised over £1million for its chosen Pub Charity Partners through events such as pub quizzes, sporting endeavours and through the sale of dedicated charity dishes served in each pub.

The Frog at Mindenhurst, which is now open to the public after a multi-million-pound investment, has created 40 new job roles and has been built with the local landscape in mind, providing a traditional farmhouse feel.

The pub has been carefully considered to provide a family-focused environment, with dedicated areas for dining and casual drinking, both indoors and outside on its large veranda.
