Hall & Woodhouse pub welcomes return of its popular alpine bar in Wimborne

Independent family brewer, Hall & Woodhouse, is welcoming back the ‘Hall & Woodhaus’ Alpine Bar for its festive celebrations at The Olive Branch in Wimborne.

Running from now until Friday 30 December, The Olive Branch is the only Hall & Woodhouse pub in the county to be offering the ‘Hall & Woodhaus’ Alpine Bar experience this year.

The Alpine Bar will be open daily for seasonal celebrations, with a varied schedule of live music on offer every weekend for those looking to get together with friends and family over the festive period.

Guests will be able to enjoy an après ski style environment with real fir trees, twinkling lights and atmospheric décor. The alpine bar is specially catered to mimic the wonder and excitement of a Christmas market and provide the comfort of a warm lodge in the chilly German Alps. Hall & Woodhouse invites guests to feel at home and enjoy the seasonal street-style menu without lifting a finger.

A street food pizza wagon has been introduced to this year’s line-up to complement the bar’s speciality drinks menu, which includes a selection of wintry favourites such as mulled wine and traditional steins of German Helles lager. German-inspired food such as baked camembert and sweet and savoury pretzels will also be available.

The Olive Branch will serve its usual menu of food and drink in the pub’s restaurant indoors, with the additional festive treats available for guests to experience throughout November and December in The Alpine Bar.
